Gudja United F.C.

Gudja United Football Club is a Maltese football club from the south-eastern village of Gudja, which currently plays in the Maltese Second Division.

Gudja United plays in blue and white jerseys. In 2009 Gudja United came close to winning the Maltese Third Division Section A. Their arch-rivals are Ghaxaq F.C who in the past 10 years soon to be 11 years have never managed to win a game against Gudja, and have lost with some humiliating scores of 6-0 and 4-0. They came close to winning last year but the game ended 2-2.

Gudja Supporters Club

The Gudja Supporters Club are a group of youths that support the club with a great atmosphere at the games. The 'ultras' attend Gudja matches and display their support with large flags and banners. They also support their club by chanting various hymns.

The ultras were founded on Friday 12 December 2008. They organized themselves for the first time in 5 January 2009 encounter of a Third Division game against Sirens, won 2-1 by Gudja. The first season was success for these supporters because Gudja United FC came 3rd in the league. The group works hard to prepare for every match preparing banners, flags and other material for each match. Special emphasis is given to the chants, sung during every match and the continuous support during every match. These supporters hope to help Gudja United FC reach the 2nd Division again.
